SLEEKFENCE™ Project Application Chart

  • These structural calculations are strictly based on SLEEKFENCE™ systems, and Canadian requirements.
  • PSF & Estimated Windload ratings are based on our max screw distances being adhered to when mounting panels to posts, and it assumes posts are securely mounted/set in ground.
  • Ratings for in ground applications are assuming posts are set below the frost line, with concrete. Structural engineering is recommended on a per project basis, to determine the best footing design (width, depth, and cement type).
  • Ratings for concrete mount posts are assuming posts are securely fastened – structural engineering is also recommended on a per project basis, to determine the best anchor size and type.
  • Guard Rails, Balcony Railing, and Pool Fencing requirements may vary per application. This is a general guide, and structural engineering is required on a per project basis, to determine post mounting method for your project.

Fence Height & Panel Type

Max Screw distance – ALL APPLICATIONS*
When mounting panels to posts with SLEEKFENCE™ screws as specified in our installation guide.
Estimated Max Wind Speed (MPH/KMH) IN GROUND*
When posts are set securely in the ground below frost line, in engineer approved concrete footings.

When posts are mounted on cured, engineered concrete walls securely, utilizing factory baseplates and engineer approved anchors.
Guardrail / Balcony Railing Applications*
When installed beside a drop off greater than 4′, and / or decks or balconies up to a maximum of 4 stories high.
Pool Fencing Applications*
46″ high fencing must be installed with a 2-3″ gap under the fence in order to meet minimum height requirement of 48″ for pool fencing.
